Privacy policy
Updated
This notice explains what information is processed when you visit Le Santa Demo, why, and what rights you have. It is written for visitors in the UK and follows the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
About this site
Le Santa Demo is an editorial project about one slot game. We do not take bets, hold player accounts or sell anything directly, and we do not ask you to register.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours receives some technical details every time a page is requested: your IP address, browser and device type, language settings, the page you came from and the pages you view. We use this information in aggregate to keep the site running, spot errors and understand which articles are useful.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to record clicks on our buttons, including the ones that lead to partner casinos. Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to tell visits apart. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not combine it with other data to identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will still work.
The game demo
The demo player does not contact Hacksaw Gaming when the page loads. Only when you press the play button does your browser connect to the provider's servers, which then handle the session under their own privacy terms.
Fonts
Our typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts. To fetch them, your browser shares your IP address with Google, as it would with any externally hosted file.
Partner links
Some buttons lead to partner casinos through a redirect page on this domain. If you open an account through one of them, we may receive a commission. Once you leave our site, the casino's own privacy policy applies, so read it before you share personal details.
Lawful basis and retention
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website for the technical data, and on your browser settings for analytics. We keep analytics records for at most 14 months, the retention window configured in the analytics tool, after which they are erased or made anonymous.
Security and processors
Pages are delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection by a hosting provider that acts only as a processor, serving the files you request. We keep no user database, because there are no accounts, comment boxes or forms. Some of the services mentioned above, such as analytics and fonts, may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long technical logs are kept
Server logs that record requests to the site are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted automatically. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Contacting us about your data
Because we hold so little information, most requests can be answered quickly. Tell us which right you want to use and, where relevant, roughly when you visited, so we can check the analytics records. We reply within one month, as the law requires, and we never ask for more information than we need to confirm the request.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 and we do not market gambling to them.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
